We expose the power structures underlying environmental and gender injustice. We connect lived experience to policy, challenge harmful narratives, create visibility, and build shared understanding across movements and institutions.

Why Feminist Systems Change Matters

Environmental crises are rooted in systems of inequality. Policies fail when they ignore care work, land rights, mobility, labor, discrimination, and power. Transformative solutions require changing not just policies, but the narratives and assumptions that shape them.

What We Do

Through our Feminist Systems Change work, we:

• Produce tools, briefs, and analyses that make complex issues accessible
• Challenge false narratives and harmful framings of climate and gender issues
• Generate and share feminist data through the Gender and Environment Data Alliance (GEDA) and the Gender Climate Tracker
• Convene deep-dive conversations on emerging intersections
• Support participatory and community-led knowledge creation
• Build common language to strengthen movement strategy
